Getting There is Part of the Fun!

My trip to Las Vegas was a very spontaneous thought - meaning I thought of it, 30 seconds later invited my friend to join me, 30 seconds later we were officially planning! We had barely bought our plane tickets and booked a hotel room before it was time to pack and head to Sin City!

We couldn't just go straight there. Why do that??

Cherry Redd, a rockabilly shop in Salem, was our first stop. I just HAD to pick up these saucy 4" black and red heels. Once there I spotted this clear/plastic stripper shoes. Of course I had to put them on for pictures. As if that wasn't enough, the guy working there insisted on cinching me into a real corset. Holy cow. I think I stopped breathing for a while!

From there we rushed to PDX, got on a flight to LAX, and then Las Vegas!

New York New York was our destination! Before we were there, we hopped in a shuttle, which ended up driving us up and down the strip. I think driving up and down the strip at night is the perfect way to start any Vegas Vacation - just ask Clark Griswold! Our room and view was amazing! And even more amazing after a day of traveling .... the pizza we got down near the casino!
