Total Randomness and Giveaways

I was all prepared to babble, and I still will, but I just read something that shocked the hell out of me. My 7th grade science teacher passed away on Monday. He wasn't my favorite, but not my least favorite either. He made learning fun, but did temporarily give me a D when I went on vacation to Disneyland. That was resolved. But wow! I mean he was only 48 years old. I don't know what happened or if he was sick. I just saw his name and picture in the newspaper. Gosh, crazy how unexpected things just happen like that!  A couple of years ago a former classmate that I never knew was on the ladder taking down the family Christmas lights while his wife and newborn baby were inside. He falls off and dies. Some heart thing he had that they never knew about caused it to just happen. I guess we should just all remember to not take anyone for granted because ya never know! My goodness. I'm just baffled right now.

Back to what I was going to babble about now!

I was listening to the Adam Carolla podcast. They were talking about some sort of porn awards coming up. And that got them talking about fetishes. The guest was saying how he is really into feet. Feet are the new [boobs] (*I censored because I hate the "t" word) according to him. So then what about us runners? I was already small in the boobie region to start out with, and then running just helped them get smaller. So there goes that. But then if feet are the new boobs, well, what about us runners??  Pedicures for everyone! On me! Wait, no. I can't afford that. Never mind. Sorry.

I finally won a giveaway!  Emily LOVES to travel, and she takes pictures all the time - 'cause how can you visit places like Italy and not get photos?? So she made a calendar and gave one away ... and I won! Woohoo - Thanks, Emily!

It wouldn't be me to not mention the Princess Half! I took off last night so that my leg could recover, and instead took down my Christmas decorations. So sad. But I do like having my house back to normal again. Every day I start feeling more and more confident about this race though, so I guess that is reassuring to myself! I feel like the entire week will just be a blur, yet completely unforgettable!

I have a co-worker, make that two co-workers!, that wear the same exact pair of shoes to work every single day. It is rather bizarre. I mean I've been here five years now, and the one has worn the same singular pair of shoes every day - except for a one week trial period of some shoes she couldn't walk in, so she gave up and went back to her regulars. Years ago before I had any readers I discussed this whole situation. Basically, to summarize, I am Gilbert Grape (yay, I get to be Johnny Depp!) and I am working with a combination of Arnie and the morbidly obese mom. Not in appearance, just in mannerisms, etc... Oh lucky me.

And last, I have lived a life complete now. I finally found not one, but TWO girls that like Danny Wood the most out of all 5 New Kids on the Block. WHAT?? Seriously, you two must be the only ones on the planet. But I guess this way you don't have to fight with your girlfriends, while watching the Hangin' Tough Live concert video, over who is cuter - Joe or Jordan. Obviously it is Joe.  Joe, Jordan, Jon, Donnie, Danny. That is the order of cuteness. I made my little cousin memorize that - 20 years later he still knows. Poor kid!
