Of course I registered for the half. I mean if I was ever crazy enough to do a full it wouldn't be in Seattle!! Oh hell, a 5K is good enough for me in Seattle!
As professional slacker I am very happy to max out at half marathons! I figure this way I can do more of them more often. And who are we kidding... if I registered for a full there is NO way I'd stick with the training. As it is I've done 7 half marathons and only really trained for the first one! I'd probably be awesome if I'd actually just try and run more than twice a week!
Oh I so want to sign up...I was all for it Friday and now waffling! Must make the decision. This year I was jealous when everyone was running it and I wasn't. Just need to pull the trigger.
I wanna meet BB too! And he better bring food. ;-). Or diamonds... I'm not picky.
As for your comment above about only really training for your first half, I seem to recall that may have been because I was all over your ass like a vulture on a porta-potty. ;-).
I make those. I have something else though...that you may like and I could pull that rabbit out of my hat for this trip. Maybe two batches are in order....
Boom! Done here too! See you there!
ReplyDelete(Oh, and in two weeks at the Runaway Pumpkin!)
Is the Seattle Center the place on that HILL where the Space Needle and EMP are?
ReplyDeleteIf so, just shoot me now. Expect to hear the F word A LOT from me that day!!
I can't make any promises, but I'm still thinking about it.
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
ReplyDeleteYou'll throw something at me if I innocently ask "just a half?", won't you?? ;)
ReplyDeleteYES!! You better duck!

ReplyDeleteVery nice! I'm tempted to sign up for that half, too. :)
ReplyDeletePeer pressure! Peer pressure! DO IT!!!
ReplyDeleteYes. I'm registered. For the full. If the band is good, dance topless or something to keep them there until I finish. Kthx.
ReplyDeleteTopless dancing ... got it! There was a man dancing topless to Everclear at this year's Seattle RnR!
