A Little Character

A little imagination, a little flair, a lot of fun... That's what is so appealing about racing with Disney. The beauty of Goofy Weekend, especially if you are a little Dopey, is that not only do you get to dress up for the most fun races ever, you can dress up as two or three different characters if you want to! And would it be classic Fruit Fly behavior to just run in some random tech shirt and shorts? No!

This year I have been busy and am happy to have three costumes packed and ready to go... Warm and cool versions of each outfit actually. We have had blood, sweat and tears while creating them. Seriously, all three. And sadly I am the one to have all three of those. Man Friend is freaking talented and has brought out a needle and thread, random fabrics and a sewing machine to help us create our simple, yet fun costumes.

26.2 miles in capes? Of course Tew Legit would do that. (I named us that during Portland Marathon when I could barely move and heard 2 Legit 2 Quit being played. I knew then our permanent team name was Tew Legit!) Another thing Tew Legit would do? Cowboy hats. Yes, cowboy hats, ladies and gentlemen! That should be interesting, but it will be hilarious and hopefully memorable in a good way! My mom and step-dad haven't been spared and will be in on the costumed team action at the 5K Friday morning.

OMG... That just made it super real. That's THIS Friday. Holy bat cave! Goofy just got all kinds of in my face!!

    1. We will survive the heat ... I mean we survived Tower of Terror and that was way worse than anything Marathon weather can give us!

    1. Pictures you will see! Hopefully we pull off what we tried to create. I mean I used a freaking sewing machine after all!
