I expect full eye roll material from myself on this one based on the first two lines.
Today's class was called One Upon A Time. The bus was full, so Tina (from Traditions I & II) and I drove in her car. Juan was at the bus stop - I thought this was cool.
What?!? Of course Juan was at the bus stop. And of course the bus was full. They were shuttle vans, NOT buses!
We went into the park before it opened. We walked down Main Street & learned about the names in the windows and how the buildings were made.
I always love the parks before they are open. The absolute best!

Also, we went through Tomorrowland and watched the rope drop from the Main Street/Liberty Square border. People are hysterical - they are in the biggest hurry.

I remember seeing a child in a stroller lose a shoe, the parents saw it AND kept going. Someone from behind picked it up and ran it to them!

Cherry, our facilitator, was so cool - very animated. We went to a classroom upstairs at Main Street. I got to sit next to Juan. We were sent out to observe Cast Members at work in the park. I was going to go with Juan but I'm too shy to ask, so I went with Jamie and her friend Michelle.

This is so me. Of course I was too shy to partner up with my own friend! I'm glad I was with Jamie though, because we are still friends and we had so much fun in the Haunted Mansion.... that's coming up!
Later, we were split into groups. We went into the Haunted Mansion VIP entrance. Very cool. Cherry told us stories and facts about the house that Guests are not allowed to know. I rode it with Jamie.

We had a blast. It actually felt a little scary for the only time ever!

They split us up into even smaller groups for a little scavenger hunt. After that, Cherry told us stories about MK - death, streakers, etc... Mickey Mouse came upstairs and gave us lapel pins as graduation presents. I was so scared to meet him that I ran up, got my pin and ran back. I was brave - & went back up to get my picture with him.

Yes, I had a major character phobia. It was even worse with face characters compared to fur. I turned bright red for this and was almost in tears I was so scared!

They let us watch the 3 o'clock parade from upstairs - Cool.

I feel like I wrote that with no emotion. "Cool." ?? No exclamation point? Nothing?!? It was freaking awesome! 41 year old me would LOVE to do that again!! I mean I was up in one of those little Main Street USA windows watching THE freaking 3 o'clock parade!
Meet Jamie!
Jamie and I went to EPCOT tonight. We were only able to see part of the World Showcase. It is so cool. I love Germany - maybe I'm partial. On the way over, Josh from Oregon was on the bus with us. I talked to him & met his roommate Joe from New York. They are Juan's roommates. They rode back with us, too. Illuminations 25 at EPCOT is so neat. I have to go back and actually watch it sometime.
I LOVE Epcot! I never capitalize all of it. I'm rolling my eyes. And also, Juan, Juan, Juan. Amiright?!?
I invited Joe over for real American mac and cheese anytime he wanted. Sarah & I both thought he was a cute little boy - Marcy knows him & doesn't see it. Yeah - a day off tomorrow. I'm sleeping in!

NO idea who Joe is anymore! I certainly never made him mac and cheese and never got a photo. I'll trust he was cute if Sarah and I both thought so!

In tomorrow's post we make a visit to the Disney-MGM Studios, which seems to be VERY different from what we now know as Disney's Hollywood Studios! And of course Juan will be there again. This is really cracking me up!

~ See ya real soon! º0º ~
