I have been waiting for this particular post ever since Vinny and I started talking about the old days and my journal! 

Marcy & I got to work together Sunday. It was fun when I was Food Girl & Marcy was giving me the food (talk time!). This means Marcy was in the kitchen and I was in the saloon dress taking food from her and giving it to the guests. I had to do the topping bar for the first time & unfortunately I had to do it with Gary. Ugh, he was so annoying to work with! Daniel & I had our lunch break together, but by the time we both had food we had a table of 5 Pecos & a Pirate. It was Jamie, Jamie, Daniel, Kristen & me. 

After work (Marcy & I were off at the same time) Marcy and I had a nap for at least 2 hours. We woke up, had P&J sandwiches and baked potatoes made in the microwave. 

You seriously do the craziest, most pathetic type of cooking when you make NO money and have no car to get you to a real grocery store. Walgreen's food is not exactly food you want to live off of. 

Back to bed we went, but got up when Sarah got home. We didn't go to House of Blues because we all were too tired I talked to my mommy. Her & Jim gave me drinking advice - I think it came a little too late. HA!!!! FYI, the advice was never mix your alcohols. Just stick with one.

Here's the day. The day that, as someone at Pecos put it, Vinny won the Shiny, Happy Ronda Prize.

Monday I got up at 10am to do laundry. David, Maria & Luis came over and were so dang loud. Brenda, Sarah & I sat around watching TV (odds are it was the Weather Channel) & then I had to go to work.

I got put on Trays, so I got to watch the parade, (Jafar is scary!) He really is. Absolutely terrified me that day and I never encountered him again until the WDW Marathon Relay in 2012 and I forced myself into a photo with him just to try to conquer my fear! sweat, get gross & talk to Ricardo all day. I feel like I spent the whole day talking to Ricardo, both Carlos' and Joe. I got to fondle Ricardo's hair (he said it was OK)! I got put on topping bar with Carlos. I didn't have to do anything gross - he did it all for me.

How could I resist that??

Here is THE moment. The moment all the other men in Florida disappeared from view.

Vinny kept coming out and talking to me. He is (as Danielle would say) such a nut - but cute, so who cares.  

How I didn't write down what happened, I will never understand. This is what happened. It is so small, but I obviously haven't forgotten. I was working the topping bar, as I said, and Vinny came out from THE door. He knows the door. All the Pecos people know THE door. He had this cocky, New Jersey swagger to him when he came up to me. He says to me "You're fat!" WHAT??!!! I mean I truly believed I was fat, but to be told that to my face by this super cute guy?? "Nah, PHAT with a PH!" And then he was gone.  That was all it took. That somehow won me over! You'll never come between Vinny and I. Heck, we even spent September 11, 2001 together. I'm talking to him right now. PHAT did it. Back to our regularly scheduled programming...

I never got my break until 6:35. By the tine I got back we were closing. The girl I closed with, Sarah, (not my roommate) annoyed me. She spent more time complaining & saying what she was going to clean instead of actually cleaning.

Poor dude coming up here. TRYING... he stood no chance with me EVER. And especially not after the Vinny comment!

Joe borrowed my Fugees CD, so he took me home. Carlos was at the bus stop, so I sat by him and he looked at my pictures. We had to take a bus from the back of the Magic Kingdom to the Cast Member parking lot. So normally I'd have that bus and then sit at that parking lot waiting for the Vista Way bus/shuttle. Joe & I ended up following him on the way home.

Marcy and I had Pizza Hut delivered, then Marcy, Sarah & I spent the night writing letters. I wrote one to my friend Andy & finished the one to Bryan. I know Andy Lilly is the one, but not sure on the Bryan. We went to bed at 1am - that's early for us!

And there it is.... the beginning of Ronda and Vinny! He'll become a regular fixture before too long.
