Are you ready for this?? Remember that first day of work and how I was in tears after getting yelled at non-stop by a fellow Cast Member? Well....
This 2nd day of work was so much better than the 1st. I heard Richard got fired! :-)
Custodial Carlos & Smell Good Guy
Boom!! Take that, old man. Your ass is gone! The records will show this is not the only asshole I helped get fired during my years at Disney... but you can read about those when I get to the Animal Kingdom era!
I started out the day following Kim around doing condiments & trays. Joe (manager) let me (Little Cleaver) (get it - because I was the Beaver from Oregon State University) do trays all by myself, but Joe (fellow coworker) ended up helping me. We did stuff together all day & he introduced me to people I didn't know (Carlos the Custodial Man).
I also met Abraham & ??. The latter was worried about me & what happened on my first day of work. Now when he sees me he says "Hi friend!" He smells good, too. (I believe we referred to him as "Smell Good Guy" in my apartment until I learned his name, and then we probably still called him that. Once I give you a nickname, it just sticks!) I also met Little Carlos (see, another nickname. It just happens). He is hysterical - always sneaking in food.

Little Carlos
I couldn't pronounce Carlos' full name, hence Little Carlos. When there are two of the same name you have to distinguish somehow! I didn't write it down, but I vividly recall leaving work that day. As I was heading through the Utilidor, leaving the Frontierland arm and heading toward the locker rooms a bunch of fellow Cast Members were there. It was almost like a long row of high fives, and everyone thanking me for speaking up and helping get Richard fired! I must have been the last straw. You're welcome, guys!
Thursday night Marcy, Jamie & I went to PI. Nobody was there when we got there, plus Marcy was cranky. So we walked the WestSide. I saw an autographed Anthony Hopkins SOTL (Silence of the Lambs) picture -$495- and came home. Sarah & I walked to Walgreens & stopped by David's for his pictures. No David, but Alejandro was there (singing "Help me Ronda") & Juan was also there.
I'm just so glad I wrote down these completely unimportant details of my daily life! Well, actually, I AM glad. It makes me laugh!
Friday, work was long. I didn't get a break until 5:30pm. I found Jamie in the Fantasyland cafeteria, though, & Sarah came through, so that's good. Mohan taught me how to do food - taking it from the counter to Guests. I like that job - very easy.  I had to close. I had NO idea what I was doing. I just kind of stood around watching Caroline to all the work. (For what it's worth, I had to learn WHAT to do, and once I knew, I always worked my butt off!) Sarah got an ER, so she gave me a ride home.
I forgot not everyone reading this knows all of our Disney lingo, so hit me up if I am speaking a foreign language at times. ER - Early Release. We all loved to get those!!

Oh my gosh, I am laughing looking at this. "Her" is referring to Sarah, who was 21. I was 18.
Walgreens wouldn't let her buy any alcohol for 24 hours because she brought me into the store. Whatever! No sign outside, so that rule is pretty lame.
I can't remember exactly what was or wasn't there. There was a liquor part attached to the main store. I clearly wasn't buying any, and I walked in with her. Apparently that was a no go. I had no idea. I had never had a sip of alcohol in my life, and wasn't trying to. I was just the kid following my roommate around.
David came over & we saw his pictures, along with Marcy's & the ones from Blizzard Beach. Hysterical! Marcy, Danielle & I all have "fat pictures". Yuck!
Ah, life before social media - when you had to print multiple copies to share with friends, and actually flip through photos on papers in your hands and not on a phone!
I cooked quesadillas, mac & cheese & Marcy made some hard burnt rolls. I really need to go food shopping!
I never went food shopping. I bought the cheapest bread and cheese slices at Walgreens. And crackers. This is what I lived off of. Okay, and some super cheap cookies.

Tomorrow I get more into the swing of things at Pecos and we see just how young and innocent I was when I went to House of Blues!

 ~ See ya real soon! º0º ~
