Joe - my fun manager

Tuesday, work was actually fun. Perhaps because I had both Joe's, both Carlos' and Ricardo. I think I was the minority that really liked our manager Joe. I even hung out with him at Pleasure Island once. I feel like Ricardo & I talked all day. Carlos was mad at Joe (the big one, not the manager) & wouldn't talk to me for a while because he thought we did something last night. (Gross. No way. Never.) he soon forgot that since I worked late I was alone behind the counter, but Ricardo was doing food, so we talked. 

Carlos came back at night. I almost didn't recognize him in real clothes. It's true - you get so used to seeing each other in costumes that once outside of them we all look strange to each other! 2 Country Bears came into the restaurant. I gave one crackers & the other accused him of stealing. They had him against the wall, frisked him, tied him up & took him away. It was totally adorable! Ricardo gave me a ride home. Rihab saw us together & thought we were a couple.

Wednesday we had our 2nd seminar. We took a personality quiz. I'm an "I" - outgoing & talkative. After the seminar, Sarah, Marcy & I went to Disney-MGM Studios. Luis & Maria rode over on the bus with us & the 5 of us went on the Tower of Terror.

Marcy, Sarah & I ate at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. Our waiter was cool. He gave us 3 milkshakes, 3 cupcakes, 1 iced tea & 2 Frisbees all for free. (I still have my Frisbee. It glows in the dark!) Good thing 'cause what we paid for was $30. Thirty sounds like nothing in 2020. In 1997 as a CP, this was more than one of my paychecks. I'm not even kidding. The restaurant was very cool - reminded us of our drive-in at home. 

We went on a few rides, took a lot of pictures & did a lot of shopping! We talked to Bassey at the bus stop at MGM & got a picture of him.

That night  the 3 of us went swimming. Benji, John & Quame all showed up. We talked all night. (bed at 3am!) Benji was flirting with Sarah so much. Stacey was sitting by the pool alone, so I convinced Marcy to go talk - she did, for a long time. The Justin guy that knows NKOTB came - hit on Marcy - and tried to get her to come over after PI. (She's not interested!) I saw Bassey & Alejandro in the parking lot going home from the pool - seems that happens every time we swim.

I say swim. I think we would all just sit in the hot tub and hang out. And we were strictly Pool #2 after the first week. Pool #1 was all the Epcot internationals and they weren't as welcoming to all the rest of us. Pool #2 was the party pool. It has stories!

Looks like the next time we eet here it's jsut fun in the Magic Kingdom and Pleasure Island!
