Grab a tissue. This one has some sad news.

I had a relaxing day off Thursday. I did laundry & hug out in my room listening to CDs. Vinny picked me up at 5:00pm so we could go to MK & get our paychecks. I got a measly $84. I was so mad. The 2 of us went to get our schedule & then went on Pirates of the Caribbean. I got Marc some presents & some for myself. Once MK closed, we went to WestSide. It started raining & my boy got cold (wimp!). Sorry, Vinny. ;)

At PI, Sarah, Danielle, Marcy, Brenda & I hung out with Dan & his roomies Eric & Ryan. The good ol' band "Panama" was back. PI was one of the best nights we've had lately. It rained so much, we were all soaked. Marcy & I were in Heaven.

What the roomies didn't know was that this was the last PI night for Marcy & Sarah who were ending their programs early, so we were busy taking tons of photos, many of which are filling this blog today. Danielle was so mad that she didn't know that's what was going on. Dude, it was just tense... like all the time. Of course nobody told her.

Friday, as soon as we got to work, Joe gave us ADOs. Sweet! (ADO = Authorized Day Off) Marcy & I went to MGM one last time. We ate at Pizza Planet (Toy Story) & saw part of the parade. It was fun, but we got so tired during the Backlot Tour.

That night, Marcy & Sarah announced that they're going home - everyone was sad, Dee was mad. We didn't stop 'til 2am.  Before all that, I went with Vinny to try to get a new job (him, not me) & went by his high school football game. He snuck into Vista Way again & we got to have the whole house this part censored to ourselves. 😁

Saturday was the longest day. Mile Long choked & I had to close. I ended up having an 11 1/2 hour day. Ay-yi-yi! I was happy 'cause my boy came by to see me. we closed so slow - took an extra 1 1/2 hours. Michelle kept finding things wrong with what we did. Ugh, I remember that. It was agonizing.

Sunday was better. Ricardo was on the counter for the first time. Vinny worked so I was happy. I started out the day on counter - in kitchen clothes. I just missed having my break with Vinny by 1/2 hour. Closing wasn't that bad. I did Prep room (it was done before I got there) then helped Holli on Pots & Trays. One guy left during closing so we had to cover Take Down, too.
Luis gave us a ride home (Pecos Luis, not honorary roommate Luis) - but we went to Downtown Disney Marketplace instead. Luis was so dang cute in a sailor hat that night! Poor Dan was ready to go home, but he had to go with us. I stood in line for 25 minutes at World of Disney & then more at the Christmas Chalet. We got a cab & I cooked mac & cheese for Marcy while she talked to Charles. (In Oregon)
There was just a lot. Losing Sarah - who is seriously the best roommate I've had in my life, and I've had quite a few! And then work being so long all the time. But I had the nice calm of hanging with "my boy" and doing some real life stuff once in a while. That was a good balance.

In our next post ... some final roommate moments of bonding and, of course,  drama. Plus an unexpected departure from another familiar name in this journal. Stay tuned!
