Sunday with the Stars

Sunday in Vegas was fun and relaxing. Okay, fine. It was slower than Saturday because we were still in recovery from Saturday night! Basically we had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. I paid $11.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich that I couldn't even finish.

Then we hopped back on the monorail to the Venetian so we could visit Madam Tussauds. It was actually pretty darn cool and a lot of fun. They had tons of celebrities from many different spectrums .... movies, tv, porn, sports, general entertainment, politics, history books .... Highlights for me would include Tupac, Elton John, Michael Crawford, Marlon Brando, Hugh Heffner and The Rock. I couldn't believe they actually let you touch them and practically climb on top of some! Other guests were also very courteous - which was a nice surprise. It wasn't uncommon for us to take pictures for other people - and vice versa. Everyone would just hold back, watch and laugh while we took our sometimes really silly photos. It was just a really fun way to spend a day!

The evening was all about the Phantom of the Opera! It was sooooo good! The Phantom actually sucked. Worst singing Phantom I have ever heard. But the rest of the cast was great and the production was just fantastic! I won't say anything specific, so as not to ruin it for anyone that hasn't yet seen this spectacle! I urge everyone to go see it if they make it to Las Vegas!
