As I mentioned in my
race report,
Lesley and I had an original goal of finishing in 2:20. We adjusted that, due to the insane heat and humidity, to 2:30. Then, after seeing Lilo & Stitch, which were apparently at mile 3.4, we decided to throw out any time goal and just have fun and get all the silly pictures we could. Best decision EVER! This was the most of I've ever had in a race and I can't imagine I'll ever top it!
So now I invite you to have a laugh and run along with Lesley and I as we giggle our way through 13.34 (according to my Garmin) miles!

ReplyDeleteGreat pics! The guys you don't know are Phineus and Ferb. THey have their own show on Disney. I only know them because I had my picture with those two cuties too and then found out who they were. I like the Alice in Wonderland , although I think you make a good ALice too.

ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! All the characters still look very put together despite the heat. Wonder what their trick is?!?!?
ReplyDeleteTo The Accidental Runner - I'm fairly certain they switched out every once in awhile. Some people have photos with Alice and the Queen of Hearts... we had Alice with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. Also Mickey and Minnie were not at the finish line when we crossed, and we saw loads of people with Mickey/Minnie photos at the finish.
